Starlight Special

(7pm Wednesday 31 December 2008 until 7am Thursday 1 January 2009)

FREE Buses are being provided to safely transport New Year’s Eve party-goers to and from the CBD from Darwin, Casuarina and Palmerston areas. Buses will be running at half hourly intervals. Bus Services will also be available for the outer suburbs of Casuarina and Palmerston to the nearest Interchange. For more information please visit Free Bus Events.

Christmas Express Transport Home

Christmas Express is a joint initiative of the Northern Territory Government, TIO and the Australian Hotels Association.

The Christmas Express bus service from CBD to northern suburbs and Palmerston will operate:

  • 13 December to 4 January (including Christmas morning excluding New Year's Eve)
  • 1am to 5am Saturday and Sunday mornings
  • Flat fare of $20 per person to your door
  • Secure pick-up points:
    • Mitchell Street near Discovery
    • Knuckey Street end of Smith Street Mall

Hector's Christmas Message

Environmental Assessment of Middle Arm Environs

Grab the Opportunity - Catch a free bus to the AFL in Alice Springs

27 February 2008

Free buses are being provided for the AFL NAB Cup Match being held at Traeger Park Oval in Alice Springs, Friday 29 February 2008. Buses will depart at 5.30pm and 6.15pm from Madigan Street, the Old Timers Retirement Village and Living Waters School (Kramer Street), picking up passengers at all bus stops along each route including Barrett Drive.

To get you home, buses will travel back along these routes, departing Traeger Park Oval 20 minutes after the game siren.
